Rolling the die that you can achieve a fair and equitable outcome when your opponent think his right to abuse has been abused immensely and your best and only legal representatives each carry the name of the Christian God whose existence I not only don't believe in but I also tell of my experiences of rape as a child by Catholic nuns and priests battling in a system who heritage is more than 98% Christian and here in Australia the particular Christian cult who has had the most extensive and pervasive input is the Catholic Culture.
The fake news about Catholicism has been around longer than I have existed. By the time I came into contact with it the Catholic Church was responsible for the murder and torture of millions over many hundreds of years in our very recent past.
The salesmanship needed to sell the myth that Christianity and catholicism are the leading lights still for humanity despite the thousands of child rapists and the thousands more in abusive relationships with Catholic women.
Nothing speaks more of wilful ignorance and humane treatment like unrecognized rape and torture of children and an inability to permit the country and the community to help their victims recover through somehow claiming the the relationship of clergy to children was a pastoral relationship brought to them by the religion of love and compassion the Catholic Church.
The sheer staggering ignorance that attempts to require invisibility to these real problems in every area of the country and community.
When your Barrister and your lawyer begin their names with the name of the Christian deity in a traditionally Christian legal and justice systems that are culturally blind and impotent when it comes to protecting the rights of fellow citizens when they speak of the abuses carried out by followers of their religion at every level in every community in every country on the face of the planet.
What are the chances of success for someone who was able to engage with the Royal Commission and to see and to experience its transformation from a replay of earlier failed investigation surrounding human rights and child abuses in particular.
What was stand out for some was the change that came about from complaints of the way some were being repeatedly re-traumatized by some procedures, some staff and some commissioners.
The ability to protect the integrity of Commissioners may have been the cause of possibly the greatest mistake to come from the Royal Commission. Simply perpetuating the very imbalance of power and the protections that enabled such a prolonged cover up of so many child sex crimes for decades ter decade going back more than a hundred back to Inquisitions and obscene abuses of power as well as the same lack of accountability as those the Commission was investigating due to the widespread failures in the responses by institutions to the sexual abuse of children.
from oversight even if they were repeating the vicarious trauma they had themselves experienced as children
The early interpretations that allowed whole swathes of abuses to pushed aside so that they remained unseen. The first of those was cosy chat with Catholic bisdhops and their insistence that their God and their doctrins were to be exempted from examination even if it was found to have caused or been used to obtain sexual access to children by those with the most esteeem in the catholic Community.
It does not take much to comprehend what sort of society and community you will get when the greatest protection goes towards those who have abused the most in the most horrific of ways.
At that point The doctrinal teachings of Catholicism and the harmful psychology that so much of it contains was exempted and the designated blame was now limited to being a product of the few bad apples syndrome.
It took the Commission two and half years to begin to address the vicarious trauma and abuse of power that was coming from within the Commission.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics states that in an isolated system (one that is not taking in energy), entropy always increases over time. Maintaining a belief today in an implausible god or supreme being requires entropy : the degree of disorder or uncertainty in a system whereas a dependence and reliance on evidence can only bring increased order.
Human rights do not exist in the Catholic religion unless the perceived rights of gods, demons, angels, devils, poltergeists and a myriad of other mythical creatures and superstitions are met to the satisfaction of those traumatically bonded to Catholicism through their own abusive childhood experience
