The inability of a child to thrive in a Constitutionally protected God based perpetual threat and rape culture is not a fault of the child; however it does become their odious responsibility upon reaching adulthood.

Frank Scully was a relation of Bill Scully the federal Labor party politician was Vice-President of the Executive Council - Herbie and Mum went to Frank about the abuses. Frank came to Yea at some time (I was not very old but old enough to do a paper round in the morning and the Herald in the evenings with Frank so was after 8 years of age - maybe 10 or 12 , he had bought the house two up the hill from my home (previous owners I recall were Coonan and Parkinson) in the house that was directly almost opposite the gate into the convent where Anne dragged me out on to the street in front of the house and then went to get mum. He owned and operated the local newsagent. He provided me with a safe place in his newsagency and his home was a safe place for me thanks again to my mother and Herbie Kemp. Herbie and his brother Maurice Mascot were both members of the Knights of the Southern Cross in Yea. Herbie lost the ability to push further that way when his brother died. Frank Scully backed Herbie in what he was pushing for. There was considerable discussion communication with the Melbourne archdiocese yet there was never any mention of any paper work via the documents produced for the Royal Commission - I was already well listed as one to step over, one that did not need to be seen publicly still.
He listened he took it to his family connections and on to people in the federal parliament. That had something to do with a disconnection via the knights of the SX - Scully was already a knight on coming to Yea as well as his already established connections politically. This was another pathway my mother tried to have the rape of her children addressed.
It seems to me that my whole episode has perhaps "disappeared" from history and Dillon at Lifeboat saying that I am one that knows too much may have more relevance in the understanding of that.
This was the first political connection/police notification/archdiocese awareness and awareness of Melb archdiocese 1956. Ellisson was in Yea earlier than that - we went to their place sometimes because they had a TV or that was connected via The Hayes family. ???? Jim Desmond (another KoSX) was nearby - I think the street was Francis street. Who was the clergy abuse survivor who committed suicide in Yea - possibly Oliver street in the house with the big Canary island palm in the front yard - there was something about that after I had been abused by O'Donnell and we sat out the back sort of under or near the tank stand in the cool and the lady who lived there asked me a lot of questions about what had happened to me. Somehow I feel the two are connected. The suicide happened a few years after I had left Yea around 1969.
I had to visit Scullys house to answer questions with/for some men several times - this I believe was very shortly after Herbert Kemp's murder around 1962. Frank Scully sold the newsagency soon after and left Yea.
I just read on the family of a man in my home town - his name was Frank Scully - lived across the road from the Catholic convent - from a well known political family or such. I have made a number of mentions of events support etc from him. He either came from or went to Sandringham. He and his family had a lot to do with the DLP, Mannix, Santamaria and more.
That recollection says to me that both the federal parliament, Victoria police and the Melbourne archdiocese were aware of at least one of my incidents 1956/57 and yet there was no paperwork offered up to the Royal Commission as I understand that when the Church volunteered its paperwork around 2015. The incident was well within the date range that the Commission was seeking. I was well out of favor via both Bob and Janette Brown and my in-laws in QLD by the time of marriage breakdown.
Herbie had become a longer term problem for the church in Melbourne I imagine by the time he was murdered - one wonders if they have any records pertaining to Herbert Henry and Maurice Mascot Kemp and the property that was said to have gone to the catholic Church on his death bed. Would it be possible for them to have just records of Herbie and no connection with mum and possibly others. Herbie was definitely aware of other children who had been raped by the time Maurie died and the property was left to Herbie who set about writing his Will in the way he and Maurie had been planning. That changed on a so-called deathbed dash to Melbourne by the suspected rapist clergyman Des Cameron. There was a mention somewhere that the Will had changed to make Cameron the recipient or executor of the will . Owen Jackson when he was burning all of their personal effects had said that he was acting on instructions from the Church which made me think that the church was the final recipient as we had first heard. *SANO David Rai re this being aware of suspicions about Cameron.
It needed to be that way because the first steps in that had taken place when I made contact with the Victorian inquiry I was well known to Victoria police before that.
Somewhere I have mentioned that Vic police took action to investigate - that came about via actions taken by Sandy Collins it stopped after PoC visit - Collins mentioned that this had been discussed at the extended lunch with John Stuart Peter O'Callaghan and Sandy Collins. I learned of the lunch from Sandy Collins as we discussed the connection of Bill Ellisson in my childhood. My encounter with the disgraced policeman then head of the sex crimes unit Victoria Glenn Davies came later around 2009 or so.
